A study of aesthetics classes in fine art faculty programmes

Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the places, contents and objectives of aesthetics courses and the qualities of instruction methods in the bachelor?s degree programmes of the faculties of fine arts.The research group of the study consists of programmes of the 7 faculties of fine arts, lecturers of aesthetics courses, 135 students and 4 area experts. In this research have been developed two different data forms. Qualitative and quantative data was collected by studying documents as well as from the opinions of students, instructors and area experts. The data collecting instruments are the questionaries and interviewing forms. The data gained were analized by qualitative and quantitative methods. The quantitative data in this study was presented in charts, frequencies and percentages. Qualitative data was analized in N Vivo 7 programme.The most important data provided from descriptive research is the differences among the aims of aesthetics concerned with teaching fine arts or not. It has been possible to separate these two areas combined together by putting forth the aesthetics progressive differences as a model of aesthetics and philosophical aesthetics.
