Abstract (EN)
The qanun, included in the scope of instrument education in the Fine Arts High Schools-one of the institutions providing professional music education in our country- is an important instrument of attraction both nationally and internationally in being one of the important instruments of Turkish music, expressing coma sounds in makam music completely, and being open to polyphonic music and innovations. While there is qanun course as an enstrument training in FAHS in many province of Turkey, the books are available as textbooks that course of implementation phase of the theoretical and practice-oriented information are included. These books are crucial in teaching qanun instrument education and for the healthy functioning of teaching in FAHS. In this context, revealing the positive and negative aspects in contentwise the books used; in the students' level, readiness in perception, advancing the performance matters the success of the learning process. In this study, the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade qanun textbooks in the music departments were examined, evaluations made by experts in the field of qanun and studies written for the qanun in consideration of these evaluations. Consequently, it would be beneficial to review the rank order, to enrich the book in visuality, to give a detailed place on the tuning, to prepare studies according to the principle of progressive by specifying the metronome, to arrange works from easy to difficult and to benefit from different sources. Finally, it is thought to contribute positively and significantly to the development of the student's instrument and repertoire.
