Abstract (EN)
Purpose of this study is to examine teacher and student?s views about using copying methods at the arts departments in fine arts high schools.Copying method is to be made an art work the same again. Purpose of copying method isn?t copy for forming art work, to faciliate and to make faster studies at the way of art work. Several educators consider that this method is harmful to obstruct creativity. But, it is possible to able making useful with usage.10 arts teachers and 30 students at arts department attend to this study at two fine arts high schools which are in Ankara and Çorum.Qualitative method is used in this study. A code list has been created coding of the data for data analysis . Thematic coding has been made from code list which are connected with each other.The data were analyzed with a qualitative research method.Finally, it is understood that copying method is useful but if it is used very often, it may make harmful creativity. It is seen that some teacher don?t tell anything about copying method, as for telling is inadequate. It is determied that copying method make positive effect to student?s psycomotor skills.Even as copying method motivates student to lesson and subject, when student fails, it causes to decrease student?s motivation.Key Words: arts, arts education, copying method, GSL teachers and students.
