The teacher and student ideas related to graphic design lecture at fine arts and physical education high schools

In everyperiod of civilization history, art education takes place in the period of education with different stage and approaches and it still takes place. In Türkiye, Fine Arts And Physical Education High Schools?Art Departments which educate students have an important roles and a big duty. The students graduated from these schools have chances to enter faculties (Education Faculties and Fine Arsts Faculties) related to their branches after passing some specific exams.The aim of this research is to produce views of students and teachers related to graphic design lessons at Fine Arts And Physical Education High Schools? Art Departments by researching certain size and with the produced data was done to contribute with suggestions and views related to graphic design education development.The examples of researh was formed by five schools from Fine Arts And Physical Education High Schools in Türkiye. A questionnaire formed from 13 questions and two parts was done to 98 students and totally 20 questions formed from 3 parts related to 15 personel programmes was done to 10 teachers at five schools (Çorum, Samsun,Trabzon, Giresun,Tokat Fine Arts And Physical Education High Schools). The data of this research, which is in browsing model, is collected by the forms of the questionnaire practised to the twelveth class who has taken graphic design lecture and practised to graphic design lecture teachers.By the questionnaire made from likert type measure, teachers? and Students?views related to graphic design lesson were determined. The frequency and percentage was used as the statistical technique to analyze the data obtained from the reserch.The questionnaire applications, were carried out by sending the necessary explanations to the schools by lecture teachers. The results obtained fom research with the opinions of teachers and students about the graphic design lecture were determined. It is seen that the teachers don?t like the sequence of the subject in the graphic design lecture and workshop physical conditions whereas the students don?t like to expend too much care. When we examine the approach of the students it is realized that most of them like the graphical design lecture. The difficulties exposed in graphic design lecture are to expend to much care and guaj paint applications. Since the studensts level of preparetion to the lecture is too low they don?t pay enough attention to the lecture. The workshop that is used by the students need to improve, provide necessary material and documents.In this reserch it is prooved that it necessary to give much importance to the graphic design lecture and to have a functional programme for this lecture.KeywordsArt EducationFine Arts And Physical Education High SchoolsGraphıc desıgn
