Abstract (EN)

This research was prepared to determine activities that based on Turkish music they are conducted in musical audince, reading and writing courses which are taught at fine arts and sport high schools and in the position of basic field course and, the structure and general features of these activities.It is a descriptive research for assessment and composed of interpreting data that get with survey forms by analysing frequency and percentage rates after literature review.The first population of research is composed of 55 Fine Arts and Sport High Schools (FASH) which served at least 4 years; second population is composed of Musical Audince, Reading and Writing (MARW) course teachers who work at these schools and final year students; first sample is composed of 28 Fine Arts and Sport High Schools, second sample is composed of final year students and Musical Audince, Reading and Writing course teachers who work at these schools.As a result of this study, it was determined that Turkish Music based activities that are conducted in Musical Audince, Reading and Writing courses are carried out without considering relations of course with its basic study fields such as theoretical knowledge, musical audince, reading, writing and creating; studies in these fields are not included in details; there is not an association in terms of used printed- visual resources, instruments and sound system between schools.In accordance these findings, new suggestions have been offered to make Turkish music based activities in Musical Audince, Reading and Writing Courses more effective, productive and sufficient.
