We have reviewed and evaluated the province Antioch, administered during the reign of the Ottoman Empire as a township affiliated with Halep county from the social and political point of view. Firstly we considered the history of Antioch from its foundation up to the XVIII th century; then we handled the physical structure of the city, pinpointing the number of districts and villages. We supplied information about the "Menzil" organization which was instrumental for transportation and communication as well as information about the cases of brigandage which happened occasionally on this route. In the section where we handled the administrative structure; we considered the missions of the administrators and we clarified the point how the townsfolk were represented. We also examined the social structure of the province Antioch within the context of the social structure of the Ottoman Empire. We reviewed the relationships and interactions between the Moslem and non _ Moslem cross-sections of the Ottoman Society. In that age Antioch was on the road of Mecca so there were many brigandage and troublesome. We handled the economic structure in the tripartite organization of production -Tradesmen-trade. Ehl-i Şer' is the major as Kadi and Ehl-i Orf is the major as Voyvoda in Antioch Province. In the study we gave some information about Kadi and Sharciyye SiciPs.
