The fact of news (Khabars ) in the Qur'ān in the context khabar and inshā' (Constative- performative)

The Qur'ān, which was presented to the meaning world of humanity through Prophet Muhammad (s.a.v.) at a certain period and time in history, is basically a guidance that leads people to grasp the reality in which they exist and to act according to this reality. In this respect, the news (khabars) about various types and fields of existence mentioned in the Qur'ān constitute the means of human guidance. On the other hand, the news of the Qur'ān from history to the present has been the subject of examination with different aspects and dimensions in the context of various disciplines. At this point, it is seen that an integrative method and reading has not been improved in terms of revealing the meaning and function of the Qur'ān news in terms of human guidance. Nonetheless we can say that the khabar and inshā' (constative- performative) style, which is one of the most characteristic features of the Qur'ānic language, offers a holistic method to reveal the meaning and function of the news in the Qur'ān at a categorical level. Therefore, in this research, based on the distinction between khabar and inshā' in classical linguistics, it will be examined how the news of the Qur'ān is presented to the addressee within the framework of language and style, and what kind of change and transformation these news bring about in the constructional dimension. Accordingly, the study will consist of three chapters. In the first chapter, the intellectual foundations and historical process of the concepts of news and construction, how they are defined in the Islamic scientific tradition, and which subjects and disciplines they are related to are examined in order to form a general framework for the research. In the second chapter, the literary uses and features of the distinction between khabar and inshā' in the context of classical linguistics will be determined. In the last chapter of the study, the news about the ghayb (unseen) which are mentioned in the Qur'ān such as Allah, spiritual beings and the hereafter; the news about shahādah (seen) such as creation, historical narratives and the environment of revelation will be tried to be understood by adhering to the method presented in the previous chapters. Accordingly, each news told in the Qur'ān about different types and fields of existence -even though it has the appearance of constative (khabar)- is a performative (inshā') in terms of having the semantic field/meaning dimension which changes, influences, and transforms people from different perspectives.
