Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to examine in detail the usage of the concept of "sâlih" (righteous) both in the methodology of hadith and in verses and hadiths. The first section of the study discusses the lexical meaning of the concept of sâlih, its relationship to relevant concepts, and its connection to other branches of knowledge. The second section focuses on the nature of the concept of sâlih in the methodology of hadith and its historical development process. The final section involves identifying the characteristics of actions and individuals described as righteous in verses and hadiths, as well as highlighting the rewards that those possessing these characteristics will receive. The overall aim is to demonstrate the universality and compatibility with human nature of the characteristics of the righteous servant, who represents the ideal profile that the Islamic religion seeks to cultivate, in response to the increasing hostility towards Islam and attempts to undermine its reputation. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of carefully determining the purpose of using the concept of sâlih in the methodology of procedural science. Furthermore, it is observed that the characteristics possessed by righteous servants are of a universal nature that can be accepted by both believers and non-believers and remain valid until the Day of Judgment.
