Detection and analysis of concept definitions in hadiths

ABSTRACT This work, which is about what Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) described some words, has an entrance, two parts and a conclusion. The entrance section explain this work purpose, important, method and content after that the first part gives information about concept, term, definition, meaning and Prophet Muhammad's style. In the second part the words that Prophet Muhammad defined were analyzed by classifying them according to their subjects. Besides a comparison was made between the meaning that the Prophet Muhammad attributed to the words and the meaning of these words in the period of Ignorance, As a result, it was seen that the words defined by the Prophet Muhammad formed new terms/concepts by establishing a relationship with the meaning used in the period of Ignorance. The fact that most of these concepts are related to religion and morality shows that the Prophet Muhammad created a language of religion by defining words.
