Arrogance and humility in hadiths

From the first moments of creation, the subject of arrogance and humility has directly affected human life. Because of his arrogance, Satan did not prostrate to Adam (pbuh) and rebelled against Allah's order, and as a result he was expelled from His presence. The un-derlying reason for Satan's eternal enmity towards the son of Adam was his arrogance. The enmity caused by arrogance showed itself with all kinds of tricks and deceptions, and as a result, Adam and Eve left Paradise and came to the world. Therefore, arrogance has been the main driving force of rebellion against Allah and has directly affected human life. This thesis, named Arrogance and Humility in the Hadiths, consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction, the subject, purpose, method, sources and conceptual framework of the research are discussed. In the first part, the characteristics of the arrogant person, the types of arrogance, the fate of those who are arrogant, and the ways to get rid of arrogance are examined in the context of hadiths. In the second part, the reasons for humility, the types of humility, the examples of humility from the life of the Prophet, the characteristics of humility of the Companions and the achievements of humility were examined and evaluated.
