Abstract (EN)
Communicable diseases which reshape persons, communities and history, are acute disaster in serious results for humanity. Cautions which were gotten by social and politic establishments weren?t enough to these diseases. Because of these causes, humanity deeply felt in helplessness. Islam which supply balance of world life and life to come, get criteria to this problem. Islam advertise that whether this criteria is applied, there are benefits for world life and life to come.In our thesis we firstly gave definition of plague. After that, we analysed that causes of plague, cautions to this disease, deaths on account of plague.Plague is in Turkey ?rodent disease?. This usage is not correct in Turkish. Usage of plague in Arabic is communicable diseases. Correct usage of plague in our understanding is ?taun? which is rodent disease. Correct usage was written in thesis part ?definition of plague?.Causes of plague are claimed that effects of goblins, falling of weather character, microbes etc. We explicated these claims in our thesis. Effects of goblins and falling of weather character cancel each other. These theories were used in era of unknown ?microbe definiton?. Modern medicine introduced that basic cause of plague was microbe which named ?yersina pestis?. Other factor is environment which supply life of this microbe. In Islamic sources (book of hadiths), cause of this disease is effect of goblins.Cautions to this disease are prayer, therapy and quarantine. We especially emphasize in thesis that these basic cautions help each other. Islam bring in the history of medicine quarantine concept to plague and other communicable diseases. Islam adviced that quarantine and abiding quarantine. Humanity are accountable in abiding quarantine both of world life and life to come. Keywords: Plague, quarantine, communicable disease, prayer, microbe, hadith
