Abstract (EN)

In this study, some general observations were made on air conditiner system of railway systems. In order to calculate the cooling capacity of the air conditioner unit of railway systems, a railway car with the lenght of app. 24 meters and the carrying capacity of 98 people has been investigated.In the first chapter, introduction and the basic concepts of air conditioner systems have been explained. Air conditioner system of the railway systems has been described at the second chapter. At the third chapter, heat gain has been calculated. At the fourth chapter, the convenient evaporator has been designed for the railway cars. The convenient condenser design has been done at the fifth chapter. At the sixth chapter, compressor selection has been done. At the seventh chapter, appropriate expansion valve has been selected. The pipe diameter of refrigerant circuits has been calculated at the eighth chapter. Convenient condenser fan selection has been done at the nineth chapter. At the tenth chapter, convenient evaporator blower has been selected. Drier selection has been done at the eleventh chapter. At the last chapter which is the twelfth, air duct calculation has been worked out.
