Abstract (EN)
The works of Hafız-ıEbru are of great significance for the Ilkhanids, the Timurians up to 830/1427 and the history of Iran. The famous Sihabuddin Abdullah b. The work, which has been copyrighted by LutfullahHafii (d. 833/1430) and known as Mecma'u't-Tevarih, is one of the important Persian sources of medieval history. The part that makes this work important for the science of history is that it was the observation of the author's time. The fourth and last part of the work, named as "Zubdetu't-Tevarih-iBaysungur", which is described as the original part of the work, is divided into two parts. In the first part, the history of Timurian is mentioned, and in the second part, the date of Sahruh until 830/1427. This part of the work was published by Seyyid Kemal Cevadi in Tehran in four volumes under the name of Zubdetu't-Tevarih in 1380.XIV. second half of the century and XV. We see that the influential and powerful states performed on the same screen for the first period of the century.Syria Campaign, which was one of the rulers who influenced the course of history, started in the summer of 1400 with Sivas, Malatya, Behinsi and Ayıntab, and ended with the defeat of the Mamluk Sultan in December 1400.Timur, who sees himself as the natural heir of the Genghis Empire, started from the south of the Caspian Sea in the first part of the expedition (1392--1397), continued by capturing the Shiraz and Kirman regions on the Mazenderan, Esterabad, Persian and Sultaniye, Baghdad, Tekrit. Erbil and Mosul completed with the capture of Cizre, Mardin and the Iraqi Arab region. When Timur reached the Anatolian borders, he sent a crowded delegation to the Mameluk State, who asked the Erzincan Emirate, Karamanogullari, Dulkadirogullari, Karakoyunlu State, KadiBurhaneddin State to obey him.Timur's progress while continuing to Syria where he completed the orientation of operations in the territory of Turkey is an interesting event. However, it would be better understood that Timur, who analyzed the situation well, turned to Syria before the Ottoman Empire, another important power of the period in the Mamluk-Mongolian struggle. This study will be prepared by examining a Persian term source and the study will be completed by using other sources and examinations of the period. In this context, it is aimed to present one of the medieval Persian sources to our researchers.
