Modal analysis of Hafız İsmail Biçer's some Quran recitations samples

Reading the Quran with a beautiful voice is one of the most important recommendations of the Prophet. Hafiz İsmâil Biçer is acknowledged to represent a tradition expressed as the Istanbul tone by the readers of the Quran and music lovers. He has a beautiful voice, a smooth reading, and a wide breath. With his ability, he took lessons from two great masters of the Qur'an of the time, Hâfız Hasan Akkuş and Reîsülkurrâ Hâfiz Abdurrahman Gürses. Thus, while reading the Quran, Hafiz İsmâil Bicer came to the fore with his reading of the text, letters, tajwid practices and beautiful voice and reached the rank of one of those who read the Quran beautifully. Hafiz İsmâil Biçer was born in 1947 in Bolu. After performing his memorial practice in his village, he became a student in Göynük district center Qur'an Course, and then studied with Hafiz Hasan Akkuş Efendi in the the Nuruosmaniye Qur'an Course in Istanbul. In 1961, he finished primary school with distant education. He enrolled in Istanbul Imam Hatip Secondary School and graduated in 1966. In the same year, he started working as a muezzin at Edirnekapı Mihrimah Sultan Mosque. After graduating from Istanbul Imam Hatip High School and Istanbul High Islamic Institute, he completed his military service in 1979. Subsequently, he started to serve as Imam Hatip in Istanbul Beyazıt Mosque. He studied kırâat from his successor, Abdurrahman Gürses Hoca Efendi. He both read and taught the Quran. He was assigned to read the Quran in many programs both in Turkey and abroad. He lost his life in a tragic traffic accident (d: 1998) while he was going to a program he was invited to in Turkey.
