Social statutes of women in interpretations of hak dini Kur'an dili and Kur'an yolu

The aim of this research is to determine the interpretations of being covered, kavvam, beating, polygamy and divorcing in the famous interpretations of Quran in ?Hak Dini Kur?an Dili? of which the author is great Islam Intellectual Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır and another interpretation of Quran in Kur?an Yolu It has been tried to show differences and similarities between two interpretations. We preferred Hak Dini Kur?an Dili as a first source. As a second source we preferred Kur?an YoluThe first section is about being covered. These two interpretations? comments include each other. Wearing cilbab (the practice whereby some Muslim women cover their faces) was a temporary order but hımar which means scarf has been the permanent one. Because of this the women who believe in Allah have to cover their heads.Kavvam was defined as the thing which assumes the women?s works and protect them by Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır.According to Kur?an Yolu in modern age Islam does not accept the equality of men and women and men are more precious than women. The reasons of these ideas sources from the meanings that have been given to the `kavvam?. It was defined as `manager and `predominant?.In the issue of beating Kur?an Yolu shows a contrary manner to the beating. On the contrary of Hak Dini Kur?an Dili interpretation. However, in Hak Dini interpretation the reasons and the content of beating are told.In both interpretations monogamy is advised but at the same time the reasons why polygamy is allowed are told.In Kur?an Yolu, the reasons why two women are necessary instead of one in order to be a witness is explained by giving some reasons such as menstrual period, their position, their psychology, the probability of forgetting and being panic because of the relationship the real life that is outside of their houses. After these reasons about the witnesses of women are given in Kur?an Dili it can be concluded that; the personality of women and men are completely different. The women are not interested in the events outside as it is a piece of their perfectness. So that the woman can forget the events that needed witnesses more than men do.In both interpretations the right of getting divorced was given to the male but this does not mean women are unjustly treated. On the other hand if the women want, they can apply to the judge for the wish of getting divorced.As a result, in the interpretations of Quran; Kur?an Yolu and Hak Dini Kur?an Dili there are some differences in the verses related to our topic but generally the interpretations are generally include each other.
