Abstract (EN)

The goal of this study is to determine how market research incentives affect the amount of carpets exported from the Gaziantep—a significant area with a long history of carpet manufacturing. This study aims to identify and analyze the efficacy of specific incentives designed to encourage market research efforts in this sector, given the sector's significance to the local economy and the potential benefits of targeted strategies to increase its presence in the global market. This research, in general, focuses on a variety of incentives, such as grants for market analysis and entrance plan formulation, financial assistance for attending international trade shows, and subsidies for the implementation of cutting-edge marketing strategies. Overall, this study reveals that by giving producers and exporters the resources and knowledge required to successfully enter new markets, targeted market research incentives may have a substantial influence on the amount of carpet exports. These incentives support the adoption of best practices in product development, marketing, and customer interaction in addition to helping to overcome early financial and informational hurdles. The study also emphasizes how critical it is to match these incentives with the region's more general objectives for economic development, arguing that a well-thought-out strategy can result in carpet industry growth that is sustainable and strengthen the Southeastern Anatolia Region's overall economic resilience.
