The examination of Halil Soyuer's poems in terms of shape and theme

Halil Soyuer, poems of whom started to be published in periodicals after 1950, became one of the most prolific poets of the Republican Era. He drew attention with the poems written in syllabic meter and affected by the public poem. The poet who worked as a journalist in Ankara for a long time also published a periodical named Çaba. His poems appeared in various periodicals for a long time. Halil Soyuer published 18 peom books after 1950. In these poems he mostly used syllabic meter. Most of his poems were written in the style of koşma. Soyuer used pure Turkish similar to spoken language of the local people, sometimes including the features of local languages. He placed themes in his poems such as love, faith, death. It can be seen that the poet was effected by the famous people around him in terms of saying and subject. Halil Soyuer became a remarkable person in art environments in Ankara not just with his poems but also with his social life. He made frriends with many famous people of our Rapublican Era authors in his long art life. He published his memoirs with these people in newspapers and periodicals under the name of Şair Dostlarım. He contributed to the literature with this book. A good number of the poems of the poet who was in close relationship with musicians were composed. In this work we tried to examine his poems in terms of shape and theme.
