In the rewri̇ti̇ng process of folk narrati̇ves, the story of Deli̇ Dumrul who i̇s The Son of Duha Koca

Dedem Korkut Book, which has a special place in Turkish and world literature and reflects the material and spiritual values of the Turkish nation in a concrete way, draws attention as one of the sources that has not been consumed and consumed since it was introduced to the scientific world by Heinrich Friedrich Von Diez in 1815. The twelve narratives in the book convey the lives, administrative, economic, cultural and religious structures of the Oghuz Turks who lived between the 9th and 11th centuries. The Book of Dedem Korkut has been handled by many researchers and publications and articles have been published in scientific criteria in the next hundred years from Kilisli Muallem Rifat's first publication in Turkey. In addition, the book of Dedem Korkut is rewritten many times as a fairy tale, legend, story or even a theater and cinema script. While many of the new texts emerged as repetitions of plagiarism, some appear as differentiated forms in terms of language, style, plot and motifs. The changes and transformations of the rewriting of the book of Dedem Korkut and revealing the dimensions and the aims of these changes are important in terms of illuminating the transformations of the narratives in the literary process as well as shedding light on the things to be written. In our study, Deli Dumrul Boyu, which is the fifth dimension in the copy of the Book of Dedem Korkut, corresponds to a period in which Turks have recently adopted Islam and Deli Dumrul is confused with belief and thus defies the Azrael. It is told about his divine power and his acceptance of the realities of life through his feeling within death. Duha Huge Son Deli Dumrul Boyu rewriting will be discussed, the formal and semantic transformations in the new narratives will be put forward together with the explanations.
