Abstract (EN)
Folk dances are one of the most vibrant cultural creations at the intersection of science and art. The science side of folk dances consists of the area where folk creations were born and lived, and consists of all elements that make up that creation. Moving the plays from the cultural environment to which they belong to the stage that is another cultural environment constitutes the art side of folk dances. In this study, the transfer of folk dances from field to stage is considered as the third dimension of a folklore study. In this sense, it was tried to evaluate compilation, arrangement and presentation of play in the field as a whole and to explain the stages of performing. Folk dances were studied within context-based theories as performance-based folk knowledge and examined in the direction of Performance Method. After taking a general approach to the performing stages of folk dances in line with findings, an examination sample was presented. In the sample, the performances of the three plays from the field to the stage were evaluated in three contexts and the characteristics of change were determined.
