Stress is such a concept that makes itself feel in high density, which becomes a natural part and in the course of time finds a remaining place in ourlives. Stress is a psychological situation which effects the individual?s psychological and physiological construction, impresses their behoviour, occupation outputs, and relationships with the other people. There are two dimensions of stres which are creative and destructive. Most of the people needs constant amount of stres for motivation. No stress is both impossibe and also inconveninent. However there should be given no permission to the stres which has enough violent and density to get the individual?s psychological and anothomical health into danger. All centuries have their own stres and tension sources. The century that we live in, makes the people obtain a movement and speed which cannot be compared with the previous centuries, and this situation ended as getting the people into a continious competition, to work in an alteration, and continue their lives in this kind of enviroment. Life changes so quick that we cannot agree. However our problem is having no time to learn to cope with the problems of our century, because of the speed of changing. Everybody live stress. Even the stres counselors say that a stress in a constant degree is needed for productivity. Naturally, in the occupations which produce stress, the organisations are responsible from the stress. But even the organisation politics and procedures can manage the stres sources by their own, this politic and operations should be went over and changed. Many scientific investigations made about stress put forward that the individuals who cannot cope with the daily problems and becomming in the biggest risk group as occupation are the policemen. Being a policeman is the most important one in the occupations which wears out its employees psychologicaly and physically as needed the services presented. Police meets many difficulties while performing the duties. This is because of taking on the dutiies of application of restricting the peoples freedom in certain times, when obtaining the order of society. Besides the security of the nation high risk of being a target because of representation of the government, causes the increase of responsibality and stress. The Security Organisation is an organisation which is founded to materialize a constant social goal like the other organisations and employes many workers in its structure in different areas, without a profit expactation. Stres and struggle with stres is being so important day by day for the output of the personel and quality of the services presented by policemen, who have the main responsibility to obtain the security and public order of the country, Most of the policemen during their life of profession are face to face with the threatment of a sleeping and feeding order which is opposite to human?s natural balance and a social life and family which has not to be reserved enough time. For the police to make their duty more productive, they have to cope with the stres that threat themselves succeslully. To increase the productivity of the Security Organisation, investigations are need to be made to fix and classify the expactations and problems of the personel and after these investigations proper solutions are need to be produced. n this study, in the Security Organisation which the variation, quality and continuousness of the services of the employees have big importance, an evaluation has been made to determine what the stress builders are, the effects of these stress builders on the employees, the dimension of the relationships with the police and the folk, and with the eye of the folk how much the stress level of the police is efected in the events happened in the stadiums. n the first part; the concept of stres, its formation and kinds of stress is explained. it?s dwelled upon the effects, signs and results of stres, and the methods of coping with stress. n the second part; it?s dwelled upon the police employment, the role of police in the nation, and the stress factors on the police employment. n the third part; the dimension of the relationships of the police with the folk is explained. The basic problems of police-folk relationships in our day have been taken up. The police?s expectations from the folk and folk?s expactations from the police have been fixed. n the forth part; to determine the stress factor and the stres level of police according to the folk in the police-folk meeting, the determination of the results of the inquiry which is prepared fort he stadium sample have been made and we gave place to solution proposals according to the results.117 samples are chosen by coincidence. n general evaluation in the police-folk meeting, it is determined that police wears out physically and phsychologically, and the events in the stadiums are extreemly effective on the stress levels of police.
