Investigation of pregnant women clothes problems arise from pattern form

The purpose of this study to determine pregnant women clothes? problems arise from basic bodice sloper form and constitute an example basic bodice sloper for these problems.Using survey method study?s material which give birth in Adana as of 2009 37 249 pregnant women. The study?s sample select with method gradual sample from material 32 731 whose between 15-34 age and who accept voluntarily attending 106 pregnant women. All women who agreed to participate in the study were in the last trimester of pregnancy and were first pregnancy. Participants were normal in terms of postural and physical view.The study?s data collection is interview form and measurement form. For interview form made pilot study and received expert opinion. For measurement form took advantage of measurement definition of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and antropometric measurement at the litterateur.Checking the data; 61,3 % of participant needing more upper body clothes however 59,4 % of participant feeling more comfort in the lower clothes.According basic bodice sloper width measurement at front abdominal width 63,2 % rate, at back waist width 51,9 % rate, at front hip width 54,7 % rate, back hip width 58,5 % rate tight problem occured.According basic bodice vertical measurement at front center length 61,3 % rate had short problem, side seam lenght 57,5 % has long problem and back center length 52,8 % rate had long problem.According basic bodice girth measurement abdominal hip circumference with 62,3 %, hip circumference with 42,5 % and armhole circumference with 39,6 % rate had thigh problem.According descriptive statistical data intend to pregnant women body measurement arithmetic mean these found out; stature: 160,09 cm, bust circumference: 97 cm, abdominal circumference: 102,3 cm, hip circumference: 103,8 cm, neck circumference: 35,3 cm and shoulder width: 11,5 cm.Using 50th percentage measurement from pregnant women body measurement draw a basic bodice sloper. As a result of the study based on the findings contributing proposed to pregnant woman clothing apparel industry.
