Abstract (EN)

The electromagnetic field, which consists of the combination of the electric and magnetic fields created by the rapid development of technology and the technological tools it has added to our lives, affects human health negatively. Exposure of individuals to electromagnetic fields in a wide area of daily life necessitated making spaces-structures healthier against electromagnetic fields. In this study, waste copper slag and carbon fibers were added to the cement mortar in different proportions with substitutes and additives. Physical, mechanical, electromagnetic transmission and microstructure investigations of the produced composite mortars were carried out at 28, 90 and 180 days. It has been determined that the mechanical strength of the mortars produced with the added additives is superior to the witness mortar samples. It has been observed that electromagnetic shielding gives more positive results with the addition of waste copper slag and especially carbon fiber. The highest electromagnetic conduction loss value was obtained in mortars containing 50% waste copper slag and 0.5% carbon fiber. In addition, it has been determined that the waste copper slag, which is stored as an environmental waste, is suitable for use in cement mortar systems.
