In this research, Ḥārith al- Muḥāsıbī's views on religious and moral education is examined. The aim of this study is to deal with his views about education of the inner world of human being, the heart, the mind and the soul, and the process of action, and the issues that make human education possible as a whole. For this purpose, the data were collected primarily from Muḥāsıbī's own works. Tabaqāt books, biographical works and other works related to Muḥāsıbī's life were the other sources used. Descriptive and content analysis techniques were used in the analysis of the obtained data. As a result, Muḥāsıbī's thoughts about human education, for example the determinative role of morality in rightful thinking, the elements that provide the mental perfection, especially the faith, in addition to being one of the basic virtues, fear, hope, muhâsaba, murâkaba and taqva which serve as the basis for other virtues and conducting an action with ikhlas can be meaningfull in terms of their contribution to today's education. In addition, some suggestions were made by stating that other studies are needed to clarify the interrelation of the concepts of religion, morality, mysticism, education and religious education.
