Literary texts are considered as the main productsthat can be a source for grammar and grammar studies. The technical and morphological analysis of a literary textdepends on the smallest structural unit of the language, the words, the groups consisting of words and the position of thesegroups in thesyntax. Language elements in literary texts contribute to the language in terms of preserving and transferring the beauty, subtleties and expressive power of the language. Word groups are used to fully reflect the fiction in literary texts, to understand the author's descriptions clearly, and to make the reader sense the psychological states of the characters. At the same time, literary texts are used to determine the characteristics and locations of word groups. In this context, it was deemed appropriate to examine Hasan Ali Toptaş's "Dead Time Travelers" in terms of word groups. Keywords: Grammar, Hasan Ali Toptaş, word groups, Dead Time Travelers, syntax.
