Abstract (EN)

The literary life of Hasan Ali Toptaş (1958), which began in 1980s with stories published in journals, continues today with poetic manuscripts and novels. Toptaş, which follows the postmodern line of the new and dominant understanding of post 1980s literature, is noticed in his novels and stories by his extremely attentive and innovative attitude in the fictional sense. He has published three story books, six novels and a poetry book.In this study prepared as a Master's thesis, six novels of Hasan Ali Toptaş, who has generally been evaluated with his style on a broad sense but not investigated in detail, have been examined in terms of their style characteristics. In the initial part of our work, information has been given about the author's life, his literary personality and his works, and his novels have been evaluated. In the main part of our thesis, the main elements reflected in his style, the narrator and point of view, narrative techniques and descriptive narrations are discussed. The presence of vocabulary has been revealed by a statistical study carried out on the novels. We believe that this study conducted on Hasan Ali Toptaş's style, who is one of today's leading writers and who we consider will be a permanent figure in literary history, will contribute to the research carried out on literature.
