Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to establish a simulation model in a private hospital to test the improvements that were planned to be made in order to minimize the waiting in the policlinic registration tables and to eliminate the confusion and to test the results of these improvements on the model in ARENA The main objective of this study is to optimize the number of staff working at the registration desks to reduce waiting times for patients at the time of registration and for insurance procedures after their examinations have been completed. For this purpose, simulation and optimization were used and as a result of the data obtained from the studies and different trials, the minimum number of personnel required to be present at the policlinic registration tables was determined for the maximum satisfaction of the patients.
