Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the perception of patient satisfaction according to sociodemographic characteristics. The population of the research consists of individuals over the age of 18 who reside in Istanbul and have benefited from health services at least once. A questionnaire form was used to collect data in the study. The questionnaire form consists of "Sociodemographic Questionnaire" and "Patient Satisfaction Scale". Data analysis in the research was done in SPSS 22 package program. Descriptive statistics for the perception of patient satisfaction were examined. The mean score for the general characteristics of the environment sub-dimension was 47.10±10.95; The mean score for the communication characteristics sub-dimension was 35.56±7.80; The mean score for the nursing services sub-dimension was 19.57±4.73; The mean score for the diagnosis and treatment services sub-dimension was 12.33±2.79; The mean score for the patient privacy sub-dimension was 20.01±4.33; The mean score for the waiting times sub-dimension was 15.44±3.82; The mean score for total patient satisfaction was determined as 149.65±33.01.
