Abstract (EN)

Stock management system in supply chain management process for the hospital organizations constitutes approximately 30?40 per cent of the total costs. Especially in public hospitals, due to the increasing financial deficits and applicaiton of Social Security Institution the effects of medicine/surgical items costs are felt more intensevly; technology, the desire of using working capital effectively, more inspection and control motive creates the need for stock management and/or the reconstruction in different degrees for the other hospital sub-systems.Our thesis study that is prepared in the framework of these ideas, comprise three chapters.In the first part, health care and quality are defined, quality consept in hospital organizations, health care characteristics and its classify are further touched on.In the second part, stocks are defined and the stock types are elaborated and deal with the stock costs. After that stock control is termed in hospital organizations and its benefits are explained and stock control types are further touched on.As for the third part, supply chain management in hospital organizations is defined, the applicability of just in time stock management philosophy to hospital organizations and then conducted a survey well adapted for the evaluation of these entegration influences on both stock cots and customer satisfaction.Key Words: Just-In-Time Material Management, Just-In-Time Purchasing, Stock Control, Material Management System in Hospitals
