Abstract (EN)

The research was carried out on the internet between February 2 and April 30, 2021 with 88 paramedics and 64 ATTs working in 112 stations of Artvin Provincial Health Directorate in order to determine the relationship between the professional attitudes of paramedics and ATT (Emergency Medical Technicians) working in the pre-hospital. . Data; "Individual Identification Form", "Professional Attitudes in Occupation Inventory (MPTE)" and "Arrest Rhythms Knowledge Level Questionnaire" were made as descriptive and SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences for Windows 23.0) program was used in the analysis of the data. The findings were evaluated at p<0.05 significance level. The MPTE score of paramedics and ATTs was found to be 142.9 ± 9.7, and their professional attitudes in the profession were considered to be at a high level. In the study, it was found that there was no significant relationship between MPTE mean score and age, title, working year, gender, educational status, marital status, type of high school graduated, participation in in-service training and knowledge level of arrest rhythms (p>0.05). The mean score of knowledge of arrest rhythms in paramedics and ATTs was 77.2%, and their knowledge level was considered to be at a high level. The difference between the MPTE score average of paramedics and ATTs who follow the scientific current guidelines and those who do not, is significant, and the professional professional attitudes of paramedics and ATTs who follow the current guidelines are at a higher level (p<0.05).Keywords: Paramedic, ATT, Pre-Hospital Occupational Professional Attitude, Arrest Rhythms.
