Bibliography of calligraphy

The aim of this research is to form a bibliography of Calligraphy by using literature examination method and searching all sources written on Calligraphy, which has a very important statue in Traditional Turkish Handcrafts.The research started in the libraries by analysing the books, journals and encyclopaedias, in which Calligraphy has been studied. The publication information of acquired sources and their bibliographies are saved.Throughout the research, the most helpful resource written on Calligraphy isthe articles published in journals, and respectively; books, materials in encyclopaedias, thesis, and identity discs obtained from the net.Within the research, general knowledge about Calligraphy is given.This research, which is giving information about one of our cultural heritage -Calligraphy- will help the people who want to be informed on this topic or the ones who are studying this subject.
