Medical malpractices and compensation liability

Individuals need to consult a health facility at some point in their life. They consult a doctor for the health anomalies. The physician is obliged to apply the medical procedures necessary to treat health disorders of the individuals. Not only the physicians but also other health care professionals are involved in medical practices. The medical intervention is a complicated process, which involves consulting to healthcare services, preliminary medical examination, diagnostic procedures and treatment planning. The physician is supposed to respect the patient's personal rights during the medical intervention. S/he has no authority to intervene unless the patient gives permission. Any medical intervention from the simple one to serious medical treatment is accepted as an illegal act if there is no written consent of the patient. The medical practitioner is held responsible for the damages caused by the medical malpractices applied to the patient. The medical practitioner is also responsible for the liability for damages even when the patient's relative is harmed due to these damages caused by the medical malpractice. Detecting causes of the medical malpractice and identifying the physical conditions resulting in damage on the patient' health are crucial to determine the liability for damages. The purpose of this study is to draw attention to the medical malpractices' effects on the living standards of the individual. Many individuals are obliged to change their living conditions because of the medical malpractice. There are many individuals whose social life and family life are negatively affected due to these practices. Health care providers must take all necessary precautions to reduce the rate of the medical malpractice to a minimum and show maximum attention to medical services.
