Abstract (EN)
VIII ABSTRACT In this study, adaptation and agronomical characteristics of 1 1 Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) cultivars with different origin have been investigated in two years, aim of this study was determine most suitable alfalfa cultivars under condition in Hatay. As avarage forage yield 6313-7925 kg/da and dry hay yield 1127-1415 kg/da were found. The higehst forage yield were found from Salton and Elçi cultivars. The lowest forage and dry hay yield were found from Kisvardai and Mesa-Sirsa cultivars. Result of this study is confirmed that the most suitable cultivars Salton, Elçi, Syn- 1 and Pioneer-518K can be grown under Hatay conditions.
