Investigation of stone dust risk for work safety in guarry in Hatay kuruyer

Our country şs rich of mineral diversity. Mine production is a sector that has a very important place in our country's industry. Some health problems can arise due to exposure to mine dust as well as accidents that occur during the extraction of the mine. For this reason, occupational diseases caused by dust are so important that they can't be ignored. In this study; respirable dust measurements made with personal dust meter (3 pieces). Result for all 3 measurements, respectively; 4,53 mg/m3, 2,22 mg/m3, 3,92 mg/m3 and these values are below the TWA (5 mg/m3) value. In addition, physical, chemical and mineralogical properties of rock and dust samples. As a result of the investigation, the rock is 100 % limestone and it has been determineted that there is no harmful mineral in this limestone.
