Abstract (EN)
The history of a city, the dynamics and sustainability of the cultures that lived in the past make it unique and unique, not different from that city. By meticulously protecting and maintaining this state of today's cities, it means leaving a rich cultural heritage and an identity city for future generations. In this direction, literature studies and conceptual section were examined with the title of "Examination of the Contribution of the Historical Fabric of the Zenginler Neighborhood of Antakya to the City Identity by SWOT Analysis" as a dissertation work. In the next part of the scope of the study, the city images of the Zenginler Neighborhood of the city of Antakya were mapped and analyzed, and the Identity Acceptance Criterion of the Zenginler Neighborhood in terms of Structure, Street / Street and Square was extracted by using conceptual data and methods from previous studies. The study area, which is the oldest and Roman-era city center of Antakya, was contributed to the literature by conducting a SWOT Analysis in accordance with these criteria. As a result of the results obtained and as the aim of the study, the contribution of the Zenginler Neighborhood to the identity of the city together with the modern city was tried to be measured.
