Abstract (EN)

Braking performance is important in vehicles in order to demonstrate the stability and stability of the braking system. The short stopping distance after braking is the most important determinant of braking performance. This is possible with the maximum deceleration acceleration. The high braking force is related to the design and quality of the brake disc, which forms an important part of the friction surfaces. Brake systems are the systems that convert the movement energy of the vehicle into heat energy on the friction elements of the brake system. Although some of the heat is transferred to the outside, some of it is stored on the brake elements. Braking performance is adversely affected as the amount of heat stored and storage time increases. Different types of discs are designed for cooling on brake elements. In this study, air cooling discs are designed to provide maximum cooling. n addition, while designing these designs, it is aimed to keep the fracture or cracks on the brake elements to a minimum.
