Air navigation services has a significant percentage within the safety, efficient and organized flow and handling of the increasing air traffic load. In the face of possible emegency situation, in terms of air navigation services, a contingency plan is needed to enable continuity of air traffic navigation services. In generated contingency plans for air navigation services, flight level allocation, re-routing and specific conditions that have been determined for the particular case are the most frequently used methods in the handling of the contingency situation. In this study, has been set a contingency plan for two different sectors of Ankara ACC. Two different scenarios had been prepared for contingency planning via real time simulation method and these scenarios have tested by air traffic controllers. Each command that were given to traffics by air traffic controllers is studied separately. As a result of scenarios' comparison, while average of total given commands by air traffic controllers is 5 in having contingency plan scenario, average of total given commands by air traffic controllers is 13 in without contingency plan scenario. As the studies were been carried out assessments were made by the controllers and offers were presented for the sectors a farementioned.
