THE PREVENTIVE PRECAUTIONS AND SEARCH AND RESCUEDUTIES TAKEN BY THE GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS INAVIATION ACCIDENTS(M.Sc. Thesis)Aydın LAFCIGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJune 2006ABSTRACTIn this study, the aviation accidents were approached in two phases as before-and after. On the one hand, regarding before-the-accident process, thepreventive precautions which can be taken by the governmental organizations;on the other hand, from the point of thinking that risks can not be eliminatedand aviation accidents cannot be prevented thoroughly, search and rescue tasksto be undertaken with coordination after the accidents among them were bothresearched. Face to face interviews were performed with 16 organizations inAnkara, which was chosen as field study area, and 23 authorized people in theseorganizations.
