Abstract (EN)
The goal of this thesis is to determine whether organizational justice and organizational trust have mediating roles in voluntary non-reporting of employees. The study is conducted with a total of 800 participants, including pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, ground handling employees, and air traffic controllers, who are continuing their careers in Turkey. According to the findings, organizational justice and organizational trust have a negative impact on voluntary non-reporting; moreover, organizational justice and organizational trust have a positive and strong relationship. When the mediation roles are examined, it is found that organizational trust does not act as a mediator in the effect of organizational justice on voluntary non-reporting, but organizational justice does. In terms of the contribution to national and international literature, the aforementioned mediation effect is the most essential outcome of this study. The study also concluded that about 19 percent of relevant aviation employees do not report incidents or make safety-enhancing recommendations voluntarily.
