Importance of airport personnel certification training in risk reduction in aviation: Training authorization and planning flow chart within the scope of SHT/HAD

The airport is one of the service sectors in which there are personnel working with technical information. The most important feature of human resources is in-service training. Training of personnel is of critical importance for the effective and efficient management of human resources. Taking these trainings is an inevitable situation for the airport in units where technical work is done, such as the airport. Airports have to adapt to changing situations by updating their working information with the developing technology. For this reason, it is necessary for the personnel to receive training in the institution by supporting the business trainings with up-to-date information. In this study, obtaining authorization within the scope of SHT/HAD to train personnel in the aviation enterprise and the training process was developed with a flow chart, and it was organized by taking the opinions of experts using the qualitative research method. In cases where training is not received, the emergence of risks due to the incomplete information of the personnel working at the airports can create an inevitable situation. In order to prevent this, it is advocated to reduce the risk factor by conducting the personnel trainings of the human resources in civil aviation enterprises in a timely manner.
