Abstract (EN)

With the digital transformation, consumer expectations and behaviors have changed, and changes have been seen in business models. This creates pressure on traditional companies that could not keep up with the change, and the rules of the market were rewritten. This change has been a harbinger of continuous changes that will follow. By scanning the existing literature, the effects of the changes due to information technology on the operation and management process of the companies in the sectors they are in were examined. Although there is no direct study which is examining the effects of digital transformation on the operation and management process in airline companies, it has been tried to explain the effects of digital transformation on the operation management in airline companies by the dimensions which has theoretical background. For this purpose, while "how a digital transformation is experienced" through the airline company, which operates in Turkey and clearly carried out the low-cost business model, is being discussed at the rate of airline, airport and ground services; it is explained with a holistic approach in internal and external processes.
