Diwan of Hayâlî (analysis-critical edition-intralingual translation)

In our literature, Hayâlî Bey (d. 1557) was compared to the great Persian poet Hâfız of Shiraz (d. 1390 (?)) in terms of sensation, sensitivity and imagination and was referred to as the "Sultan of poets" of his era until Baki (d. 1600) was came. Dîvân, which is the only work of Hayâlî Bey we have, was first published in 1945 by the late Ali Nihat Tarlan as a critical text. This text publication has been accepted as the first critical text study in our country and set an example for later text publication studies. Since then, various books, academic articles, theses and studies have been made about Hayâlî Bey's Dîvân. Renewal and even reconstruction of catalogs in libraries in Turkey and abroad since 1945 has led to the discovery of new copies; Thus, a suitable ground was formed to reconsider the work. This thesis has been studied with the intention of paying the necessary attention to Hayâlî Bey's Dîvân, who is one of the most exceptional poets of not only the 16th century but also of all Ottoman Literature. In this thesis, first of all, it was aimed to determine all known divan copies of the poet and 48 copies of the diwan were provided in this direction. As a result of the evaluation of the copies, the text was created and a critical text was established with the copies coming from 8 different copy families. Later, an intralingual translation, which can be considered as providing the text, was made. The results obtained and differences with the publication of Tarlan are evaluated in the conclusion section.
