Abstract (EN)

Although the concept of education has an important place in the development and presence of societies, it strives for continuous development by changing in parallel with and in the same processes with science and technology. Education has a critical place in the development of all aspects of a society at the same time and in the modernization of nations. In the first years of the life of individuals, it is the primary school years in which education and training are planned and programmed. These periods, which are the first years of individuals' school life, have an important place in their personality and character. In these periods of formal education, in order to equip individuals with daily and useful information and lay the foundation of personality traits that affect all their lives, Life Science course is taught in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade of primary school. In fact, Life Science course, which is the life itself, is important to the extent to which the researchers work on what subjects, what findings the researchers reach in these studies and how they interpret them. Such a study is needed because of the evaluation of the studies that include the conditions of inclusion in the research, determination of similar and different findings of these studies and reaching the new findings and results, and what kind of studies are needed in the field. The aim of this study is to determine the qualitative studies in the field of life studies and to examine the findings of the studies that are included in the research by means of meta-synthesis method. In the database of YÖK Thesis Center, "Life Science" keywords were searched. As a result of the researches, out of 177 studies, 148 master's theses, 28 doctoral theses, and 1 proficiency in art thesis, 38 of the researches that included the criteria for inclusion in the research were expert opinions. and the sample was formed. 43 studies with restricted restrictions were not included in the study. Each master and doctorate theses included in the study were examined in detail and coded and recorded on computer. Z1, Z2, Z3 were coded as… Z.. The findings obtained at the end of the research are shown in tables. When the findings were interpreted, it was found that education and training should be arranged according to the needs of the age and should develop parallel to the principle of experiential and student relativity. When the qualitative studies about the strategies, methods and techniques used in the Life Science course were examined, it was seen that there were studies about case study method, music teaching, museum practices, family participation activities. It was determined that the perceptions of teachers, students and families changed positively with the trainings given before the implementation phase of these studies. When studies on Life Science were compared with examples from other countries, it was seen that only France was compared. The highest number of graduate studies was conducted at Marmara University. It was determined that 33 master and 5 doctorate studies were conducted. Document analysis technique was used most frequently as research model. Accordingly, the most data were collected from the documents and these data were analyzed again by content analysis.
