Abstract (EN)

Throughout human history, animals have played a crucial role in ensuring survival and development of humans and the shaping of culture. Animals; It has become an indispensable part of various fields such as nutrition, transportation, trade, religion, sports, agriculture and war. Although the animals that humanity uses in this context vary geographically and culturally, the horse has become indispensable for humanity. The care and training of horses, which affect and shape the lifestyle of the Turks, has become a necessity, and in this situation, it has been effective in the development of veterinary medicine and in the creation of works called baytarnâme. The work discussed in study is 'Hazâ Kitâb-ı Baytarnâme', registered with number 453 in the Tahir Ağa section of Süleymaniye Library. The work named 'Hazâ Kitâb-ı Baytarnâme', located between 1b-36a/2 of this copy, which contains two works, was translated from Persian to Turkish by Hâcı Alî Bin Hâcı Muhammed Aksarayî. The work written on swordsmanship and bravery, located in the second row of the copy, between 36a/3-50b, was translated from Arabic to Turkish by Hüseyin İbn Mollâ Şems. This copy is a copy with dimensions of 185x230 (160x100) mm, 50 pages, with 19 lines on each page except some pages, written in rik'a. The goal is to enrich the vocabulary of the Turkish language by translating the work into the transcription alphabet, to prepare dictionaries and indexes that are important for language studies, and to be useful to researchers who will work in the field of veterinary.
