Epiphytic algae of Hazar Lake Sivrice city center shore

In this study, the epilithic diatoms in the macrophyt samples collected from two stations in Hazar Lake in Sivrice district, Elazığ Province from April 2014 to September 2014 were researched along with certain physical and chemical parameters. Throughout the study, 45 taxa of epiphytic diatoms were recorded in total. Nitzschia (6 species) and Navicula (5 species) were the diatoms that were represented with the highest number of species and were also the most important diatoms in terms of frequency of appearance and population sizes within the epiphytic diatom community during the study period.
