Abstract (EN)
The research area is located within the borders of Yapraklı District of Çankırı, located in the northern part of the Central Anatolia Region. In the transition zone from the humid Black Sea climate zone to the continental climate of the Central Anatolia Region, the pond is surrounded by gently sloping hills and ridges, and is surrounded by forests. The morphometric parameter values of the Hazım Dağlı Nature Park Pond catchment were obtained by using the Geographical Information System (GIS) software. The area of the Pond catchment is 78,14 ha. Its catchment is 1372 m long and 803 m wide. Its catchment has a form factor of 0,58 and a shape factor of 0,240. The pond catchment is at an altitude of 1650-1730 m. 36,9 % of the catchment is medium-slope and 41,1% is highly-sloped areas. There are 9 dry and 1 wet streams in the drainage system of the basin. 83% of the catchment consists of pastureland, 13% forest, 2% water and 2% agricultural land. For the sustainable management of the watershed where the research is conducted, it is important to analyze the morphometric features quickly and with high accuracy in the GIS environment.
