A Research on relation between unit production time & efficiency and computer supported unit production time assesment in ready wear clothing

This research aims to evaluate by comparing the relationship of standart time ?productivity and improve the efficiencing by computer based standart time setting studies in ready made clothing. Ready made clothing plants producing big scalet foreing clothing for men and women in Turkey forms the population of research. Being, active in Malatya and having 761 workers Taha Tekstil, is chosen; considaring the big scaled criterion determined by KOSGEB.To determine the prices of the style sent by the custemers computer superted standart time determination is used being. REFA work analysis method and E-Petek computer packet programme are used to collect the necessary datum. The work analysis are measured by chronometre, the operation times of the results of measurements are determined in EPetek programmes using MTM datum. To obtain the best methot. Total standart time of the product is determined by comparing the datum acquired with these two methods. Findings acquired explained and showed in tables terms of sub-problems. Accarding to results acquired in the research; there are differences in calculated time of study and E-Petek programme. In E-Petek programme standart times determined to be adrantageous in some operations. But study measurements needed on some problems. Measurementsin study period system requires long time and the results show differences. Standart time determination in E-Petek programe, sewing datum don?t meet the hand works completely. To solve production manufacturers, should cantinoe the business bye making necesary changes, in the production plant and by fallowing technological develapment.
