Abstract (EN)

The digital world, which renews itself every second, continues to change not only themselves, but also what people can hold in their hands and even their content. The phenomenon of social media, which has become indispensable for the digital world and today's people, has also affected world trade and the economies of the country. The tourism sector, which tries to act in the same way as these innovations and developments, has become the most important economic element that ensures the survival of countries during today's epidemic period. In this research, it is aimed to examine the information and opinions of physicians who are the most employees of the epidemic period about the social media channels they use in their daily lives and how their touristic behavior is affected. The research was carried out with the participation of 150 physicians available in Kastamonu. Research data were collected by survey technique, which is one of the quantitative research methods. The physicians who could not be confronted due to the epidemic were prepared and reached via Google Form via link. Working group, which is given importance to its opinion in order to obtain valid and reliable answers to research questions; composed of general practitioners and specialist physicians. In the light of the questions posed to physicians, the way they use social media and the effect on these methods of use and touristic behaviors have created the findings through the answers given. Data from the research; it is analyzed by descriptive analysis by reflecting directly, fully and carefully to the research. As a result of the findings of the research, social media; it has become clear that physicians are more important in their influence on their touristic behavior and actions than in their daily lives. Thus, it was concluded that social media is one of the factors that most affect the touristic behavior of physicians in the research.
