Abstract (EN)
There are many types of screw flight constructions classified according to the material to be conveyed, application type and the process the material will be applied to during conveying. The area of usage and purpose, working principals and calculation basics are examined throughout the thesis. The flights that form the helical conveyor screw are discussed. Examination is continued by analyzing all flight constructions one by one. Area of usage, size standarts, advantages and limitations for all flight types are stated. Sources and researches on helical conveyor flight constructions are limited. The most comprehensive works on this subject are the guides published by Goodman Conveyor Company and CEMA.
