Abstract (EN)

Health information systems are very diverse and highly complex systems which aim to create a central health record system and use the information stored in decision support systems. However the goal is far from reach because of the changing and developing nature of the domain. As of 2015, the deployed systems store the data created at hospitals and send a relatively small part of the data to the central systems, yet in terms of data sharing the two healthcare institutions are like two different states that does not understand each others language. Another issue about patient data is that, during the time outside the hospital, no data is collected and instead inadequate data from patient interviews, which lasts only ten minutes and held only every few months, is used and stored. In hematological diseases the data, created at times outside the hospital, can change the direction of the treatment and is critical to the patients quality of life. In some hematological disease groups there are records to be taken daily and any anomalies should be notified to the doctor. MASHemato Project aims to suggest a solution to the addressed issues with Multi Agent Systems technology. The technical solution to data sharing, remote patient surveillance, patient instructing and public health improvement in macro level is achieved through micro level activities and coordinations of agents created patients, doctors, healthcare units and ministries. The main system proposed in this work contains subsystems designed for patients, doctors, healthcare units, rescue ambulance units and ministries. The requirements analysis and architectural design is completed using Tropos methodology. The data is stored as OWL ontologies in order to widen the capabilities of data analysis and to enhance the system without further coding. A reference list to the standarts, which needs to be complied by patient surveillance systems, is composed.
