Özet (EN)

Tinnitus is defined as the sound detected in the ear and the head although there is no sound. It is divided into subjective and objective tinnitus. Subjective tinnitus is heard by only patients and generally is not known. Pathologies that cause to tinnitus, from the external ear to to the auditory center can occur anywhere. Objective tinnitus, the sounds that annoy the patients could be heard by the other people. One of the most endemic illnesses all around the world is Chronic Kidney Disease. The disease arises that the kidney do not fulfill the functions. Hemodialyses is one of the treatment for renal failure. It is described as the blood taken from the patient is passed through a filter, connected to a machine or a fluid pump (i.e. dialysis), giving it back to the patient by adjusting the liquid or solute content. Generally hemodialyses is applied three times in a week and it takes four hours. Some litearutes show that inner ear and kidney like each other. Starting from this pont of view, the aim of the study is to investigate the results of hemodialyses patients in predialysis and afterdialysis. 213 hemodialysis patients participated to the study. Tinnitus Handicap Inventory and Visual Analog Scale were enforced.
